TRUST (Thirumaran Rural Upliftment Stable Trust) was founded as a voluntary NGO dedicated to the upliftment of the impoverished in rural areas, in 1998 by a Mr.P.Thirumaran'to render all possible help to the disadvantaged in and around the Tirunelvi District of Tamil Nadu. Living in the southernmost part of Tamil Nadu government aid often doesn't reach the disadvantaged and TRUST is committed to assisting the government with their work within society as well as helping all those within the world community

Our main objectives are:

• Upliftment of the poor people in rural areas.
• Eradication of untouchability.
• Spreading awareness about rare herbs and remedies.
• Abolition of child labour.
• Organization of women self help groups.
• Guiding and caring for foreign volunteers.
• Blood donation and seminars.
• Conducting camps and seminars to create awareness about AID's prevention.
• Non-formal education and vocational training to school drop-outs and child labourers.
• Organising free medical aid and eye camps.

As a small charitable organization we hope to eliminate the wastage many larger organizations cannot help. We don't spend any money on air conditioned offices, publicity or any other extravagances and can confidently pledge that all donations go directly into our projects. Due to our size we hope that we can create a personal relationships between you and the communities in India that you have chosen support. We offer you a part in the projects your contributions have produced and encourage anyone involved in TRUST to actively participate in our projects. You can go to India, see the Orphan's you sustain, write them letters and be a part of their life. You can go and see the happy faces and smiling eyes that you have sustained.
